People with a restricted breath patter often feel tired, can't sleep well, feel anxious and stressed. Proper breathing is crucial to our health, if we breathe correctly we have more energy, we feel more relaxed and happier.
why do people have a restricted breath pattern?
There are many reasons, One of them is appearance, in our society a flat stomach is considered beautiful, so we don't breathe in our bellies, shallow breathing is not natural to the human body. Another reason is because we use our breath to control our emotions.
what is transformational breath®?
It is a form of therapy, we teach people how to breathe properly and this improves their phyisical, mental and emotional health.
who can practice transformatioanl breath®?
Everyone can benefit from it, we can give a session to a newborn, or someone in their 90's.
how many sessions do i need to have before I see a difference?
You will see and feel a difference from the first session, some psychologists believe that one Transformational Breath® session is equivalent to one or two years of traditional therapy.
I have been taking private sessions why should i consider attending a seminar?
We all love private sessions, event trainers like to be pampered and facilitated! However there is a special energy in group work, it allows us to go places we can't go by ourselves. The Seminar is an intensive program that will transform your life, it teaches you to Self-Facilitate so you can have access to this powerful tool any time you need it, and you also learn some other very powerul modalities that can help you.
can i organize an event for my friends and family?
Please send us an email, our calendar normally fills up a year in advance but we will try to accommodate special requests whenever possible.
how can i know if i am breathing correctly?
This is a tricky question to answer without observing your breath pattern. The reality is that hardly anyone breaths correctly and if we do, it isn't all the time. Our breath pattern is in constant change, it changes when you excercise, when you relax, and with the emotions you are feeling.
For the sake of giving you a guideline I would suggest you try a simple excercise:
Lie down in a comfortable place close your eyes and relax. Breathe normally for a couple of minutes and then place a hand on your belly and the other one on your chest, keep breathing and observe if you feel your belly and your chest move, notice if there are pauses between the inhale and exhale. .Ideally you will feel movement in both your belly and your chest and there would be no pauses. All the effort should be in the inhale and the exhale shoudl be relaxed. Do this for about 5 minutes so you can relax and get a good feel of how you are breathing.
If you want to learn more about this send us an email so we can help you find a facilitator or an event near you then you can have a personalized breath analysis and get on your way to improve how you breathe.
